The New Era team has over 20 years experience in the development of marine ornamental aquaculture, hatchery breeding programmes and dietary feeds and supplements.

In 1989 our specialists began piloting the very first ornamental marine fish hatchery in Europe to use recirculation and artificial environment technology; in 1994 they played a key role in developing Europe's first commercial Clownfish hatchery and following this, implemented developments for successful breeding programmes for Fire Shrimps and many other species. With conservation and sustainability of great importance, our specialists participated in a consultancy capacity in assisting Project Sea Horse in assessing the potential of sea horse farming in Vietnam and the Philippines.

Our specialists maintain that these successes were greatly influenced by understanding and providing a balanced and nutritious food supply. An integral part of our business is our ongoing research and development, particularly in the area of fish health and nutrition. As technology and our understanding of dietary requirements and its effects expand, we endeavour to keep our technical products at the forefront of innovation.
