It's a new era at New Era - New products, new look!

Date: 14 March 2011

New Era, South Yorkshire's manufacturer of world-renowned, market leading fish food, has launched an innovative, consumer-focused programme.

The programme adds nine products to the company's top quality and innovative food products - increasing the range by 60 per cent and taking New Era into the coldwater market, enhancing their customer appeal.

With newly-designed and vibrantly colour-coded packaging and labelling, New Era pots and

packs have abundant shelf appeal. The variety is easily found - from marine, tropical, coldwater, enrichments and filtration products - in both flakes and pellets - and the content of each pack identified.

Of equal importance, New Era's new tropical and coldwater pellets and flakes are priced cost-effectively and packaged in a wider range of sizes to give cost conscious customers more choice. Flake packs are now available from 15g to 200g and pellets from 120g to 1.8kg. Newly-introduced pots - 250ml and 500ml - are manufactured exclusively for the company.

There have also been a number of name changes across all product ranges. In the marine range, aegis flakes have been consolidated into a single type for easy use and this revolutionary product is now available in pellet form for the first time; algae flakes and pellets have also been added. New Era's soft sinking plec, catfish, tropical, rift lake cichlid - green, rift lake cichlid - red and Central/South America cichlid pellets complete the tropical range. Again for ease of use enrichment sprays for frozen food have been replaced by droppers which are available in marine and aegis versions. New products in the coldwater range are goldfish pellets and flakes.

Tom Noble, sales manager, said: "This exciting programme marks an important milestone in New Era's development; particularly for our entry into the coldwater market. The expansion of our unique range of technical fish feeding diets demonstrates our total commitment to the specific needs of both our consumers and retailers.

"Our exacting standards, low temperature, low speed, low pressure manufacturing processes, using the highest quality natural ingredients, keep the goodness locked in, helping to support the immune system and enhance the colouration of fish."
